A little cart goes a long way

BACKGROUND

As part of Coca-Cola’s new ONE BRAND strategy, Coke is looking to connect with shoppers in one of its main distribution channels (Modern Trade) through one of its key customers, Walmart.

Busy schedules and fast paced living make it harder to spontaneously take care of the little everyday details.

CHALLENGE

Create a brand activation that can connect and communicate the new strategy and brand values to Walmart Shoppers.

SOLUTION

Based on a shopper insight (busy shoppers leaving their carts out of place), the agency developed an activation idea using one of the main areas of the self service store.

To achieve it, a special Coca-Cola “vending machine” recognizes shoppers who are considerate towards others by returning shopping carts to their place, and rewards them so they can “taste the feeling”.
